Whether it is your blog, your sales pitch or your staff meetings — you need to stay focused and on topic.  An occasional deviation is fine but part of your brand promise is that you’re going to deliver consistently.

How do you check to see if you’re staying on the right road?

Drew, two great minds think alike! I use the same technique and it works well. I wrote a post on it last year (but I can’t post the link because you don’t support HTML in comments).

  2. Hey, Drew … I usually check by the kind of questions I’m asked? If the questions are on-point, I’ve been on-point. If the questions seem askew and off the mark, then I know I’ve done something wrong.

  3. Doug,

I’ll have to search for your post. Or feel free to just type in the URL and people can cut and paste!

  4. Roberta,

Ah ha…using customer feedback. What a crazy idea! Do you have a “grand plan” for your blog? Sort of a vision or set of guidelines that helps you stay on the straight and narrow?

    Drew
