Can’t go to SOBCon? How about just staying home and getting it together?

As many of you know, tonight SOBCon begins in Chicago.  I can’t wait…my flight leaves in a few hours.  I’m looking forward to talking face-to-face with some of the brilliant and witty minds I’ve already loved for awhile.

But not everyone can get there.  Thanks to Carolyn Manning and some friends, you can still grow, learn and connect this weekend.

Pjs_2 Check out the Getting It Together virtual conference that they’ve created with you in mind.  Lots of very thought-provoking content, all from your home sweet home.  In your underwear if you choose.

Read about it hereSee the schedule here.

I’ll make you a deal.  I’ll give everyone your regards at SOBCon and you do the same for me at Getting It Together.

Enjoy!

Drew I mentioned this to Armano a few weeks ago, but are you guys planning on recording your presentations? I’d love to see them, and would be good promotion to put at least a snippet or two on YouTube.

  2. Mack,

Sorry was having typepad issues. What I was going to say was…I’m just a guy holding up a sign that says will speak for food, so I didn’t know.

But now that the conference was over — I will tell you that although I saw some people with cameras and camcorders, I don’t think anyone recorded all the presentations.

David said he was going to upload his — which was, as you’d expect — brilliant.

  3. Drew, thanks so much for the mention and the links.

I was hoping SOBcon would be taped, but some snippets on YouTube (as Mack suggested) will be fine, as well. Regardless, I’m sure there will be many, many posts about it.

  4. Chris,

Thank you. I’m so glad that we finally got to meet! I only wish we could have really spent some time just talking shop.

We’re very pleased that everyone found value in our session. It made perfect sense to us to tap into the collective wisdom of the group.

I know I am going to try a few new things, based on suggestions made. How about you?

  5. Carolyn,

How did your event go? I hope people knew about it and made a point of joining in. It looked like an incredible line up of experts!
