I wish I had written this.

Every once in awhile I run across something that so brilliantly captures an idea, emotion or truth that I wish I had written it.  I felt that way after I read Joe Calloway’s Become a Category of One and Steve Farber’s Radical Leap.

I felt that same surge of both admiration and envy when I saw this.  Stick with it for the entire two minutes.  The twist is worth the wait.

I hope we all aspire to be this good at something!

What’s great about this, too, is that it underscores a fundamental truth: things can look quite different from another angle. Nice!

  2. Ann,

Agreed. It is the best of copywriting…both form and function supporting the core message.

Selfishly, as a writer, I also love that it clearly demonstrates that memorable copy is not accidental. This is a wrok of art, in term so using words as a medium.

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Drew,
This is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you so much for sharing. See you soon.

  4. Beverly,

I know…it¹s such brilliant writing. And you know it wasn¹t their first
idea either! A good reminder that we have to be still and just ³be² with a
marketing challenge long enough for the great solutions to bubble up.

The power of perspective! Things are not what they seem. Very creative and clever. Thanks. I am going to have my students start reading your blog and hopefully posting some comments in advance of your visit on Nov. 6th. Thanks. Jann

  6. Jann,

I agree…incredibly clever. And, not something that came quickly. A good reminder that we need to slow down to do something exceptional.
