Don’t let your words get in the way

Kudos to the team who created this campaign.  Why?  They didn’t wreck it with more words.

When creating your marketing materials — find the fine line between just enough information and too much.  If you aren’t sure if it is too much, cut it by 20%.

Yes, really.

  1. Kelly says:

“Less Is More,” billboard-style. Very nice.

  2. It’s like a soundbyte. For the people on camera, when you start to think about what you’re going to say next, you’ve already said too much.

  3. Kelly,

Actually, this is a billboard. But the entire campaign is exactly the same. Brilliant and concise.

  4. Travis,

Exactly — a soundbyte. Then, give them places where they can go get more information if they want to. But tease their interest with saying just enough.
