Every year the team at Evan Carmichael round up some of the best blogs out there and put together a top 50 list. This year’s list for the 50 best blogs for entrepreneurs is a doozy.
Here in the States, we have a long weekend for Memorial Day…so why not use a little of that extra time and load up your RSS feed reader with some of this great content? I’m excited to be on the list again this year and discovered several new blogs that are now on my radar.
It’s quite a wide array of blog topics — from gift cards to marketing with some strategy and law stuff to boot.
You’ll be glad you checked these out…

I wasn’t familiar with Jeff’s blog but I’ve checked it out and love it!
Will aspire to have ScentTrail Marketing (my little blog) make your excellent list someday. Excellent post with all kinds of new resources for me, so got some work to do this weekend. Hey, what are weekends for right (lol).
Thanks again Drew and your blog is no slouch either and will be on my top 50 list going forward (about to find your Twitter to follow).
I checked out your blog — great content. I’m curious, I couldn’t find an explanation for the name. What brought about Scent Trail?
Thanks for stopping by ScentTrail and for pointing out a marketing weakness. I need to explain the name (duh)!
The story is I wanted a term, back in 2007, with no Google returns, a term that was wide open and I could use to ping Google and learn stuff. The term had to be somewhat marketing related or I had to be able to tell a marketing story.
ScentTrail, the aha moment when you know you are in the right place because you see “scenttrail”. Smart websites do this a variety of way such as consistent visual clues (icons) or copying the sending word into dynamic headlines.
We’ve come a long way since here were NO returns on “Scenttrail” today there are 266,000 and I’m lucky enough to be absolute #1 and #2 (Twitter and my blog). I believe #1 listings are the key to successful SEM. Now that I own such a solid position I can do the rest of the work and explain what scenttrail means – something I did in 2007 but it is now lost in the sauce as you point out.
Thanks for the tip and thanks for stopping by Scenttrail where we just past our 90,000 page view over last weekend. Long, strange, fun trip.
